We have recently turned the page and begun a new chapter in our family. After living in Bountiful, Utah for 7 1/2 years we have moved to Southlake, Texas. To say the least, our roots had grown very deep after so much time in one place, so the goodbyes were filled with a lot of hugs and tears. We leave behind some of the dearest friends we've ever had and a ward that was like a family to us. We also had to say farewell to all of Michael's siblings (most of whom live in Utah) and to my parents and 2 of my sisters. My sister, Amy, is my very best friend in the world and is a favorite aunt to our children. Our kids are already plotting how to get her to move to Texas as well. I'm all for it! There does seem to be a family trend since 2 brothers (David and Jonathan) and 1 sister (Julie) immigrated to Texas before us. This does make the move a little more tolerable since we have now joined a lot of family and cousins here.That is basically the current skivvy on our family. We will update more as we get settled in. The house is great, but is still full of boxes and bare walls. We are excited to get a little more settled in. It looks to be an interesting new chapter for our family.
